Первую половину сезона для двух команд вряд ли назовешь провальной, но обе Боруссии точно хотели где-нибудь добавить в результатах. Возможно, такая потеря очков стала бы приговором для всех в Бундеслиге, но Бавария сама много теряет, а некоторые победы забирает на морально-волевых. Подобный «трюк» с Гладбахом провернуть не удалось: Мюнхен лидировал 2-0, но Розе настолько хорошо подготовил своих подопечных морально, что те ни на секунду не задумывались об отмене изначального плана. Как итог, «жеребцы» забили три безответных мяча и приблизились к еврокубкам.

Как ни странно, после красивой победы над гегемоном, неустойчивый Гладбах теряет очки со Штутгартом, причем делая это на 96 минуте после пенальти. К ним точно хватает вопросов, но главный тренер обладает громадным кредитом доверия.
