Несмотря на несколько ничейных результатов в Серии А и в 1 туре ЛЧ против Ред Булла, Милан достойно открыл кампанию. От Пиоли ждут защиты титула в чемпионате Италии, но слабая селекция оставляет клуб позади оппонентов.

По сравнению с минувшей кампанией, Милан практически не поменялся. Такой же организованный прессинг, убийственный левый фланг Эрнандеса и Леау + забивной Жиру. Француз возвращается на некогда родной «Стэмфорд Бридж» в потрясающей форме, с которой он классно выступил за сборную.

Поражение на «Сан Сиро» от Наполи оставило Милан вне топ-3 Серии А, хотя до титульной развязки еще далеко. Возможно, итальянцам придется пожертвовать одним из турниров, но в плей-офф ЛЧ Пиоли и подопечные обязаны проходить.
