Спустя полтора месяца после завершения минувшего сезона РПЛ врывается с новой кампанией, а у Крыльев Советов и Ростова появляется шанс улучшить свои результаты. По ходу прошлого чемпионата самарцы долго шли в числе лидеров, однако провальная концовка откатила их в нижнюю половину таблицы – в том числе их обогнали и подопечные Карпина.

Крылья Советов

На протяжении всей дистанции коллектив Осинькина мог хвалиться своей мощной атакой. Несмотря на 27 набранных очков за 15 домашних игр (8-й показатель), Крылья Советов забили на своем поле больше всех в Премьер-лиге (30).

С другой стороны, атакующий приоритет бил по надежности обороны. В тех же домашних выступлениях самарцы пропустили 17 голов – в топ-10 хуже защита, чем у Крыльев Советов, была только у Ростова (19) и Пари НН (22).

В летних спаррингах футболисты Осинькина порадовали хорошей игрой только против Сокола (6:0). С КАМАЗом (1:2), Рубином и Химками (оба – по 2:2) у Крыльев Советов хватало проблем.

Товарняки команда Карпина тоже провела не в самом лучшем ключе, но одержала на одну победу больше. В межсезонье Ростов справился с Факелом (1:0) и махачкалинским Динамо (3:1).

Из трансферов «на вход» ростовчане порадовали подписанием Кучаева, который добавит глубины средней линии. Также перед стартом кампании команда Карпина отказала ЦСКА в сделке по Глебову – Ростов решил сохранить своего капитана.

За последние пять очных встреч Крылья Советов потерпели четыре поражения от Ростова. Единственная игра в 2024 году также завершилась победой подопечных Карпина – дома по голу забили Голенков и Комаров (2:0).
