Второй сезон при Ираоле начинался не самым лучшим отрезком, после которого команда шла недалеко от зоны вылета. Затем Борнмут набрал прекрасный ход, ворвавшись в битву за путевки в еврокубки.

В Кубке Англии против Вест Бромвича (5:1) представитель АПЛ дожал андердога своими атакующими хавбеками – Клюйверт, Семеньо, Уаттара и Брукс оформили по два голевых действия. С такой группой лидеров Борнмут будет и дальше улучшать позиции.
