Подопечные Федотова второй тур кряду не смогли добиться победы, тем самым ЦСКА сохранил шансы для Спартака и Ростова на второе место. Несмотря на результат очного поединка московского коллектива и дружины Карпина, им важно следить за игрой, которая будет проходить параллельно. Кажется, у игроков Абаскаля больше шансов на серебро, но они уже допускали осечки на дистанции.

Кстати, именно дружина Ивича нанесла подопечным Карпина самое болезненное поражение за последнее время. После осечек в поединках с Факелом и Сочи Ростов получил от Краснодара три безответных мяча, причем два из них были забиты на старте.

Заметный рекорд ростовчан по заработанным пенальти резко перестал давать коллективу дополнительные моменты. Скорее всего, против ЦСКА игроки Карпина сыграют вторым номером, выискивая голевые ситуации в контратаках.
